Poker Acronyms - TNX
TNX= "Thanks"
Usually used at online poker tables - "TNX" is short for "thanks" or "thank you" and is generally typed by a player in response to a compliment from another player e.g. "GC" / "TNX". An alternative is "TY".
TNX is common, TNX40 (thanks for nothing) less common - the latter is usually what you feel towards the dealer after getting dealt yet another pair of crappy cards.
